13. The Constituency Steering Committee
There shall be established a constituency steering committee which comprise of three delegates from each ward. The committee shall elect a chairperson, vice, secretary, treasurer and an organizing secretary from amongst themselves provided that no more than one official shall come from the same ward unless all the wards are already represented.
14. Functions of the Constituency Steering Committee.
The Constituency Steering Committee shall;
- Be responsible for the general administration of the party operations at the Constituency level.
- Transmit Party decisions from the county to the wards.
- Advise on the implementation of party policies at the constituency.
- Transmit information from the wards to the County Executive committee.
- Supervise the collection of membership dues from the wards and hand over receipted dues to the County treasurer for banking.
- Supervise elections at the wards.
- Coordinate the activities of the party in all wards.
- Receive monthly reports of the party’s operations from all wards in the constituency.
- Participate in the county CCM Forum.
15. The County CCM Forum .
There shall be a county CCM forum comprising of:
- Steering committee members from each ward.
- Constituency steering committee members.
- The members of the party elected at the national general election to various legislative and executive positions.
